How it Works

​

Prior to the event, we will have a consultation, either in person, over Facetime/Zoom or over the phone to help me understand your vision for your painting or illustrations. We can discuss a particular pose, background, colour scheme,  and other additional elements that are important to you. Is your dog a ring bearer but is unlikely to sit still for a photo? Are you having a country band and your guests danced in cowboy hats? I can add these important elements that represent your big day into your painting.

 

Or, if you are unsure and simply want me to capture the magic of your day I will use my own artistic vision to create the perfect painting for you. The painting can either be Portrait or Landscape but this will depend on the design.

 

I don't charge by the hour or work within a fixed timeframe, so you can have peace of mind knowing that I will capture your special day in paint without watching the clock. I will soak up the atmosphere, immersing myself in the moment to ensure that every detail and emotion is reflected in my work.

 

Booking

 

A 25% deposit is needed to book and the venue must have already been booked for the event/wedding.

The remainder needs to be paid in full 2 weeks before the event/wedding date.

On the Day

 

Live Wedding Painting (Acrylic or Pastel)

 

I will arrive 1 -2 hours before to set up my easel to start prepping the canvas and start to create the background for the piece.

 

Turnaround time for the paintings is 6 - 8 weeks, which allows for studio touch-ups and finer details to be added.

 

Guest Illustrations

 

I will arrive 1 - 2 hours before to set up. A table will be required from the venue to give space to set up an area for me to paint and to display the pop-up art exhibition.

 

The illustrations can be taken away on the day.

 

Travel Expenses

 

If an overnight stay is required, accommodation may incur an additional charge depending on location. 

 

Travel costs are to be discussed and agreed prior to booking.
