I completely sketch, hand-draw and hand-paint illustrations live on the day, from scratch!
To make sure your guests don't miss any part of your day, I ask them to pose for a quick photo, which I take on my iPad. I then use the photo to illustrate from and once the illustration is displayed your guests can collect them anytime during the event.
Guests are more than welcome to watch me during the illustrating process - from initial rough sketch to adding detail with paint!
Each illustration is sealed in an a5 clear, cellophane wallet to protect it for when its taken home.
I arrive between 1 hour - 45 minutes before my agreed start time and get set up at the venue/wedding location.
Typically I start illustrating after the ceremony or during the drinks reception. We would discuss my start time before the big day and I always work with the timings of your day.
Yes I do! I'm based in East Devon but travel across the Southwest and beyond.
I do not charge for the first hour of travel for either journey. Once the journey is over an hour a travel charge applies.
For any weddings/events over 2 hours, an overnight accommodation charge would be included.
If your guest list is more than amount of guests I can illustrate in the package you have chosen and you want everyone illustrated; I would complete the package amount on day and complete the rest in my studio after the wedding.
Additional couple illustrations completed in the studio are charge at £5.00 per couple illustration.
Any post wedding illustrations will be completed 1 -2 weeks after your wedding and then posted to you.

In a 7 hour Full Day package I can illustrate up to 55 guests.
I offer 2 x different set up styles depending on the space at the venue and the preference of the couple.
I have a wooden, portable easel I often work from seated, as well as a tall wooden free-standing frame to display the illustrations. I also bring a small side table to keep my brushes, paints and water on. A chair would need to be provided by the venue.
I can also work at a table which includes a wooden tabletop display for the illustrations as well as mini easels. The table and a chair would need to be provided by the venue.
Both set ups are clean, neat and give an artistic, luxury feel.
